In a brand new interview with the Brazilian newspaper O Estado de São Paulo, former SEPULTURA drummer Igor "Iggor" Cavalera is quoted as saying that he and the current SEPULTURA members have come to an agreement that the name SEPULTURA can only be used until the end of band's current "Dante XXI" touring cycle. However, in the same article, the group's bassist, Paulo Xisto Pinto Jr., denies that any such agreement was ever made.
Igor Cavalera recently quit the band and joined brother Max Cavalera (Soulfly) on stage for the first time in over ten years on Aug 17th, 2006. Andreas Kisser has stated that he might be done with the current Sepultura lineup after the Dante XXI tour.
